22 yearsSomeone said to live is to love, and to love is to live.It brings out the best in life, loving. It brings about a sense of purpose. If we don't have anyone, we must love God. Love is the rule of life.People fall in love. It just depends on how deep. People can love the other, but not enough for many things. Things get in the way, they're supposed to. It's up to the individual to decide what's right. Sometimes it's wrong to one, but right to the other. It doesn't matter as long as one gets what they want. No one lives forever. People come, people go. Just depends on how long they stay and how much of an impact they've made in the lives of others. We all hope we've done something right in life, we all know how much is enough, we all know when it should end. The thing about life is, we're not supposed to decide when it ends, and that's where it's unfair. I'm not even talking about those who wanted to live longer but can't. I'm talking about those who've had enough but can't die. They look back and say they don't need more, but they just can't go. Someone said, Everybody dies. The aim is not to live forever, but to leave behind something that does. Sometimes, people want to die while that something is still there, so that it will live on. They wouldn't want to go when it has faded out. Something like love. We live in a miserable world, where we are supposed to feel miserable no matter how happy we are. Nothing is enough, there is always a threat of losing what we have. Worst of all is the greatest sin of man. We never appreciate what we have till it's gone. Time is our greatest enemy. 'How should I spend today? What do I do now? When should I do this?', happens too often. Being individualistic is another great sin. We want what's good for ourselves, we never really consider who it might affect or how things would turn out later. We're so concerned with 'now' to bother with 'later', too drawn to 'later' to appreciate 'now' too. Everything has two sides to it. Duality. We either rush or procrastinate, and neither is right for anything. There is no balance. Duality means two, there is no in-between. So we either decide on one and lose the other, vice-versa. How do we choose? Life is a game after all, nothing more than a simple coin toss would explain it. That is how we handle things. Go for one, let go of the other. We aim, plan, start, but how we end is entirely not up to us, no matter how much we think we're in control. A bullet shot towards the sky will meet gravity, air resistance or even the occasional poor bastard bird. A song sang about how life is a bullet, how it tears through you and me, not caring about you or me. Sometimes we can't handle thinking about how we end anymore, we just want to end it the way we want. So we end our lives. Many see it as cowardice, but then again to some extent, they're brave because they chose something. We question ourselves from time to time, 'Is life worth living?'. The answer is simple. Yes if you want to go through something that can't be controlled, and No if you don't. So here's to life and all it's wonders and madness.
